WAKAMONO applied micelle technology, creating small particle structure, amphiphilic block copolymers that self assemble to form a micelle with a hydrophobic core and a hydrophilic shell. Micelles are capable of delivering poorly water-soluble actives as well as the protection of actives molecules.

Liposomes are small artificial vesicles of spherical shape that can be created from cholesterol and natural non-toxic phospholipids. Due to their size, hydrophobic and hydrophilic character and biocompatibility), liposomes are promising systems for delivery.
